The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."

well being proactive is a great habit to have. Why because you're in control of what happen to your life. If you want something to happen then you can make it happen because you control what you want to do you're the driver to your happiness not the passenger who watches how his life happens on it's own instead of deciding what happens in his life.

Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will." (Jack Welch)
"When you know where you intend to end up, you know where you are now." (Covey)

Begin with the end in mind, what this means is to have a plan. Don't just do something just to do it have a meaning. When you start a journey you must have a plan, a destination you got to know what to do every step of the way. Meaning that no  matter what part of your journey your in you know exactly where you're at because you planned it out and you're right we're you want to be .

Habit 3: Put First Things First
"Organize and execute around priorities."

Put you're main priorities first. If you have a quiz tomorrow that determines weather you're going to the next grade level or not but currently you're friends just invited you to the biggest party of the year. You want to go to the party now. But you want to be in the 11th grade more than you want to be in that party now so don't waist your time doing what you what now instead of doing what you want later on.
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal."

Be fair don't just think about winning and only care about that. Think win win were both people win because both of you had fun and that's what really counts when both of you have fun.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe."

Seek first to understand . This term means that you must first go out and do something, explore the meaning of something before you're fully able to know what that something means.

Habit 6:  Synergize

"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"

Synergize is the habit of creative cooperation. It is teamwork, open mindedness, and the adventure of finding new solutions to old problems. But it doesn't just happen on its own. It's a process, and through that process, people bring all their personal experience and expertise to the table. It is good to synergize because we can accomplish more things together when we all come together and bring are ideas and combine them to finish faster. Don't be selfish or an outcast work together help one and other, synergize.

Habit 7:  Sharpen the Saw
The Four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
